NAR racing continues on Wednesday with Sonoda playing host to a highly competitive Conditions event over 1400m.

Sonoda spearheads four NAR meetings scheduled for Wednesday, the others being Kasamatsu, Mombetsu and Ohi (Tokyo City Keiba), with each meeting seemingly offering up several appealing betting opportunities.

It looks set to be an enthralling contest in the feature at Sonoda with Ecoro Courage, Good Rise, and Garbo Mambo all expected to be well-found by the market.

Kasamatsu Race 2 - #5 Grace Muse

Having fallen just shy of the winner in her last two efforts, Grace Muse looks set to salute in this contest.

While Kiana Flugel and Yusei Blackie will offer testing competition, the Black Tide Filly once again reunites with hot-hand hoop Tatsuya Watanabe, who is striking at 20% in his last 50 starts and is yet to miss the placings when partnering.

Without a great deal of engaged speed you can expect Watanabe to take a forward position and prove mighty hard to deny.

Mombetsu Race 5 - #7 Conflict

Anticipated favourite Auteuil will take some beating however will likely command much of the market attention while the consistent Conflict potentially sneaks under the radar.

Battling on gamely into the placings in his last two, in-form rider Yamato Ishikawa sticks and is striking at 24% in his last 50 starts.

Yet to breakthrough at this venue, Conflict has run into the places in 4/9 – sure to be competitive again.

Ohi (Tokyo City Keiba) Race 2 - #1 Atami Seiko

While the early favourite Roi De Sable looks tough to knock off on return, we are siding with the lightly raced Atami Seiko to break the maiden.

The progressive three-year-old colt has taken great improvement from each of his runs to date and looks set for a peak performance.

Drawn to get the ideal run in transit, confidence is added with leading rider Daisuke Mashima sticking - holding an impressive strike rate of 26% in his last 50 rides.

Sonoda Race 9 - #10 Revolt

Revolt has made a bright start under his new trainer Ishibashi Mitsuru, finding the placings in both attempts at this venue.

Admittedly T O Parafait and Honey Locogirl look her stiffest challenges but with enough pace to offset the wide draw, leading rider Tomohiro Yoshimura should be able to take Revolt straight to the front and prove tough to catch.

What is worth noting is the purple patch of form of both jockey and trainer, with Yoshimura and Mitsuru striking at an impressive 40% and 22% respectively from their last 50 engagements.
