Circuit Mission To Impress In Singapore Debut

The Lee Freedman trained Circuit Mission remains a big watch in his Singapore debut, when due to contest the ninth event this evening.

Formerly based in the UK under the care of Hugo Palmer [Old Name: Curiosity], Circuit Mission won two of his eight starts, including four placings.

Circuit Mission notably finished second at Royal Ascot last year and while he will be better over further, he appears more than capable of sprinting well fresh.

By High Chaparral, Circuit Mission has won over 1200m previously and did win his most recent trial in good style.

Rated 108 by Timeform, he is simply thrown in at the weights off a mark of 65.

No question, he will be better placed over further and with a run under his belt, however his class should carry him a long way.

From the wide draw, he is expected to be ridden conservatively and should be strong late under Wong.

Whatever he does this evening, he is definitely a horse to place in your blackbook as if Freedman gets him right, he will be winning plenty of races.

The Leticia Dragon trained Nimble chases the hat-trick following another strong display last start.

Formerly based in WA, Nimble is unbeaten in Singapore and is clearly a 4YO trending the right way.

Given seven weeks between runs, Nimble has been given a soft trial in the lead up and with Rodd sticking aboard, he looms as a major threat.

The Lee Freedman trained First Choice has been fairly solid in both starts to begin this preparation and should be right at his peak racing third up.

The step up to 1200m should suit and with Moor booked he is expected to display sharp improvement.

From the middle draw he shouldn’t be too far away and has to be included in the main chances.

Of the rest, stablemate Nationality appears the next in line.

Although mixing his form this time in, he hasn’t been far off the mark and is certainly more than capable when right.

Thompson legs aboard and he has to be kept safe.

Good luck and happy punting.
