Timeform Preview - Muswellbrook October 18

Jamming will look to continue his strong recent form when stepping out in the Benchmark 65 Handicap (1280m) at Muswellbrook today.

The Paul Perry-trained runner has won two of his four starts this campaign, the most recent coming at this C/D when settling midfield before kicking clear the final 100m.

That form reads well for this and Jamming has been very consistent in all four runs this campaign and fifth up now should be at peak fitness.

Rachel King who has ridden all four starts this campaign remains on board and from the wide draw should settle back in the field before hitting the line strongly.

Deluxe was disappointing when returning back in grade at Nowra last start, having settled on the speed before weakening late.

Raced in much tougher company last campaign and her only previous win has come when second up last campaign.

Drawn to get a much better run today from barrier 5 and Jeff Penza who has won on her previously remains on board.

Willing to forgive her first up effort and would not be surprised to see her in the finish today.

Captain Scott has come back to racing in good order, returning with a third placing before not having any luck when fifth at Newcastle last time out.

Drops back in grade today off that effort and he gets in well with the 2kg claim for apprentice jockey.

Long time between wins now, over a year since his last victory but there is a lot to like about his two runs this campaign and he stays under notice.

Ready Set Sing comes into this on the back of two placings, the most recent when runner up at Newcastle last time out.

Exactly 500 days since his last win but if he runs up to his last two efforts he can certainly make his presence felt today.

Drawn to get the rails run and based on recent form is worth an each way ticket.

Good Luck!
