Wagga Guineas Prelude - Baylie Lousie Well Placed

Baylie Louise has been racing in very good form of late and will prove hard to hold out in the Audi Wagga Guineas Prelude Benchmark 62 (1400m).

The Matthew Dale-trained runner has followed up two placings with two wins, the most recent coming at Wellington by an impressive 2.8L.

Baylie Louise stays over the 1400m for this where she is yet to miss the placings and Brendan Ward who won on board at Canberra two back regains the ride.

From barrier 3, would expect the three-year-old to settle just off the speed and her form for the Mick Price stable last campaign was very good as well.

Hard to knock winning form and on what she has produced of late should prove very hard to beat in this.

Burradoo shapes up as the main danger having also won his last two starts on the back of three placings prior to that.

Most recent win came over 1000m at Nowra last week and he steps up to the 1400m for the first time today.

The quick back up and step up in trip look the main concern although would expect him to go forward from barrier 11 and will be in this for a long way.

Adrian Layt who remains undefeated from two rides stays on board and expect him to be somewhere in the mix.

Squeaky Squirrel has placed in three of his last four outings and has not been far away in tougher company recently.

He also steps up to 1400m for the first time but is sure to be competitive on his recent form and must be respected here.

Well held at Sandown two back and is unplaced from one outing at the course but has been very consistent of late and is certainly worth including here.

Bank On Henry rounds out the main chances having been solid in tougher company recently.

Finished seventh in the Albury Guineas last start and with the 3kg claim today gets in well and has the ability to be in the mix.

Rates well against these on best form and was far from disgraced in the listed Canberra Guineas two back.
