Miss And Meech To Make Mark At Sandown

Miss Adele can continue her progression through the grades against older mares in the Polytrack Benchmark 70 Handicap.

Miss Adele has shown encouraging signs this campaign having broken maiden status first up at Benalla before a soft win in three-year-old company at Morphettville on January 17.

She now takes on the older mares in the Polytrack Handicap (1200m) at Sandown on Wednesday.

The daughter of Bel Esprit rates highly amongst this field on her latest win and should be open to further improvement still early in both her career and preparation.

Regular rider Linda Meech heads to Sandown for the one ride which could be considered a positive lead.

Expect the pair to settle midfield or worse before overpowering their rivals down the Sandown Lakeside straight.

Trustam has been solid in three runs this campaign and last start was beaten less than a length at Ballarat over 1000m.

She should be around peak at this stage of her preparation and enjoy all of the favours in behind the speed from barrier 1.

Aware has been up for a while however continues to fire as evidenced by her last start second at this course and distance.

The Tale Of The Cat mare was caught three wide with no cover on the speed and under the circumstances was brave in finishing where she did.

Sentfromthestars is holding form well and must be kept safe while Smokin’ Al and the resuming Gold Bar also have appeal.

As a whole though, Miss Adele has plenty of appeal in the Polytrack Benchmark 70 Handicap (1200m).

The filly possesses a lot of upside and on the assumption there is more improvement to come, the $4.50 available about her upon scanning Wednesday morning markets does appeal.
