Sadler has prepared five winners from just 20 runners in season 2014-15 and he has the in-form Charmed Harmony contesting the Crust Pizza Beach Party Handicap over 1400m this afternoon.

And Charmed Harmony has in-form apprentice Regan Bayliss taking the ride with his 2kg claim bringing him with 58 kg.

Charmed Harmony has won three of his last five start by leading throughout and his last four starts at 1400m has resulted in three wins and a very narrow second.

Importantly he was successful over this course and distance five runs back with his last two victories coming at Sandown.

Charmed Harmony came off a 11 day break when leading throughout over the 1400m trip at Sandown on August 27, running his rivals ragged in scoring by two-and-a-quarter lengths.

While drawn off the track in gate 12, Bayliss is sure to allow the five-year-old son of Hussonet to role forward and take up his familiar role and the gelding is sure to show his renowned fighting qualities in the run to the line.

Expect an improved run from the ‘Team Hawkes’ trained gelding Laohu who will be lining-up for his third run back following a break.

Laohu run a bottler of a race first-up at Flemington over 1000m in a Restricted 90 grade race before leading and knocking up when seventh, beaten 2.9 lengths, at Moonee Valley over 1200m in a Benchmark 90 race on August 23.

The rise to 1400m this afternoon is seen as a plus as is a return to the roomier Bendigo circuit where he has notched two wins from three outings on the track.

Four-year-old Artie Schiller mare Mezeray Miss is another that is ready to put her best foot forward following two runs back from a break.

The mare has come up with a nice draw which should allow Damian Lane to give her a good run in transit.

Prepared by Matt Laurie, Mezeray Miss has a good third-up record and closed out her last campaign with victory at Listed level at Caulfield over the 1400m course.

Her two runs this time in have been worthy performances and the step up in journey to 1400m this afternoon should see her figure prominently at the business end.

Good luck and good punting.
