Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Caulfield, Warwick Farm, Doomben, Ascot and Balaklava.

CAULFIELD: RACE 8 @ 5:45 PM

The Group 3 Coongy Cup. KINGSWOOD (8) looks beautifully placed down on the minimum weight having won very well first-up for the new stable, recording some slick late splits to score running away. Looks an improving type who will be very hard to hold out. BERKELEY SQUARE (1) is impossible to knock having won his past two. He's up in the weights and drawn wide but 2000m only suits better and he'll be right there again. TOURISTIC (4) was disappointing in the Newcastle Cup but had been racing well against some talented types prior, including Eliyass & Deny Knowledge. Can bounce back strongly. STAR VEGA (9) is racing well and has minor claims.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Kingswood.

WARWICK FARM: RACE 5 @ 3:50 PM

CONFESS OUR DREAMS (2) has led for home and given a kick but been edged out late in her two runs this prep, both over this distance in Saturday grade BM78 contests. Big drop in class today and despite copping 61kgs Widdup has not opted for a claim. Talented mare who is ready to win. VANISHING (11) resumed in a BM64 for mares over 1200m at Mornington last time out where she made good late ground but missed by just under a length. Having her first run this way of going but she is a lightly raced mare showing promise. CROSS YOUR HEART (5) has been just fair in her two runs this time in work, the latest here at this trip. Drops 3.5kgs today after the claim and did peak third-up last campaign so she is open to sharp improvement. OPAL FIELDS (8) beat some of today's rivals home at this track last start so she must be respected. LET'S GO AGAIN (9) has been flying this prep out of town and cannot be dismissed.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Confess Our Dreams.

DOOMBEN: RACE 4 @ 2:33 PM

Gollan-trained IVY DEXSTRESS (1) trialled well and went close here first-up before coming back and blitzing the Maidens by 3.3L. She jumps from an inside gate and rides the speed. Keeps the 2kg claim and rates to take the next step. GLEBE (5) went close here over this trip but didn't finish it off at Eagle Farm over a mile in stronger. This suits much better and Orman is a key jockey switch. Maps well and can get back on track. JUNGLE LAW (2) can build on the Maiden win at Eagle Farm. She will give away a start but Callow sticking aboard is a positive. ARAMINTA (8) just missed at the Sunshine Coast. Fitter but spoils things with slow starts. Look for her late as well.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Ivy Dexstress.

ASCOT: RACE 7 @ 5:05 PM

SNIPPY SEAN (7) just missed last start at Bunbury when favourite but the winner there looks no slouch. Now gets the blinkers on for the first time and Chris Parnham remains in the saddle. May be back in the run, from a wide alley, but can appreciate the rise in trip and get back to winning ways. BORDER FORCE (3) hasn't won for a long time though is knocking on the door. He was good last start as favourite in Saturday grade and should get a lovely run in transit. Form has held up out of that race and he ticks plenty of boxes. AUDIO BOY (1) just missed from the back in a small field at Northam and should appreciate this set up today. CJP remains in the saddle and while the draw may be a little sticky, he has improvement to come and won't be far away. LORD RANDOLPH (11) is ticking along nicely and has to be included. ANGEL'S MY NAME (9) can find the front and be in this for a very long way.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Snippy Sean.

BALAKLAVA: RACE 6 @ 4:55 PM

THE GREY KING (1) was denied narrowly from resuming a winner here two weeks ago. Is sure to have come on with that run under the belt and is the one to beat. SUGGESTIVE MISS (3) knuckled down strongly in the lane to grab a minor cheque last start at Port Lincoln. Has been out of the winner's circle for a long time but this is one of her best chances. A THOUSAND DEGREES (10) is in the mix after being beaten a head last start at Port Lincoln. Deserves more respect this time and can add some juice to exotics. JIVE BABY (6) returns and was a barnstorming winner when resuming last campaign. Crowther piloting is a positive and she's in the mix.
SELECTIONS: The Grey King to win.
