Captain Conan on the straight and narrow

Well, straight anyhow which won him the Tolworth Hurdle at Sandown on Saturday as joint fav Colour Squadron didn't.

Colour Squadron should have won but was proving difficult to keep on a straight line and therefore he lost

by a short head from Captain Conan. It was 13 lengths further back to Magnifique Etoile with this class

looking a bit ambitious and the other joint favourite Prospect Wells did nothing.
