Sun Princeps has come back in terrific order this campaign and looks hard to beat when he lines up in the Class 4 Premier (1100m) on the Polytrack on Sunday.
The former Australian galloper has been good in both Singapore outings, winning an open maiden first up before going on to run a solid second to Arc Triumph in a Class 4 Premier over this trip last start.
This won’t be any tougher today and drawn well in barrier five should find himself settling just off the leaders.
The three-year-old gelding returned Timeform ratings very similar in both Singapore efforts and if he can run up to that level again he should prove too good for his rivals today.
With only eight starts to his name, Sun Princeps still has plenty of improvement to come and he can certainly get the job done today as he makes his way through the Singapore grades.
There appears to be a handful of dangers including Crazy Dreams who drops back in trip following a last start third over 1400m on the turf.
The four-year-old gelding goes well on the polytrack, winning two of nine and placing on a further five occasions.
Crazy Dreams should also appreciate the drop back to 1100m with both previous wins coming over 1000m and his better form coming over the shorter trips.
Looks the one who will push forward from the wide barrier and if they let him get his own way in front they will find it hard to reign him in over the concluding stages.
Soldado made his way into the placings over 1000m in a Class 4 Premier last start, a big improvement on his two previous runs with the blinkers on.
The Shane Baertschiger-trained runner is certainly a handy galloper on his day and despite two wins from 25 starts he has placed a further 10 occasions.
Comes into consideration off his last start effort but you would expect he needs to improve again to get the better of the top couple of chances.
Haytham rounds out the main chances from the good draw today despite mixing his recent form.
Won two back in a Class 4 Non Premier but has been well held on either side of that.
Recent barrier trial was okay and you wouldn’t be surprised to see him make his way into the placings.
Good luck!
