Hong Kong goes to Macau

For the return match in the Interport Trophy with the Hong Kong leg strongly in the hands of the locals but this could be more challenging.

Hong Kong!

There has been some heavy rain and this may well favour the locals. The market seems to be favouring anything trained by the Macau Moore brother (G.W.) with his two runners in the Grand Lisboa Cup G3 over 1500m Dr Sweet at 3.8 and My Dark Chocolate at 5.1. Northern Champion is on 5.5.

The Macau Hong Kong Trophy has a good split between the locals and the raiders. Viva Pronto is on 4.0 (GW Moore) with Hong Kong runners Crown Witness on 4.5 and Kyara on 5.1. An interesting runner here is Luen Yat Forever, who spent some time in Australia running in a Cox Plate and a couple of other good races and is now back in Macau - he's 20/1 but he was very successful here originally and we hear he's had a race since returning.

The Chairman's Challenge Cup G1 has Luck of Smiling on 2.4 and the Moore runner Golden Star on 4.3.

The Macau Derby G1 is over 1800m and has Absolutely Win on 3.7, Lucky Jai on 4.1 and Elderly Paradise on 6.0.

The last two races are on sand so we can't really say much about them.
