Busy weekend in Paris and nearby.

With the Sunday being on Bastille Day there was Saturday and Sunday feature racing.

On Saturday the venue was Longchamp where in the Malleret G3 our tips ran 1-2 – Survie who was favourite and Mosaique who was on 6/1 and ran well for second.

The Maurice de Nieuil had 5 runners and we didn't manage to pick anything in the top three – 'nuff said.  The winner was Double Major 3/1 for Ferland-Guyon with Shembala who started favourite running second.

The Grand Prix de Paris went to Andre Fabre's Sosie with Maxime Guyon riding.  The O'Brien runner Illinois was ridden by Christophe Soumillon and they were second ahead of favourite Delius and the supplemented Tamfana fourth.

On Sunday at Chantilly Blush won the Prix Chloe for Carlos Laffon Parias and Maxime Guyon by a head from raider Skellet (Beckett-R Ryan) and Love Rush third.

The raiders had it all their own way in the Robert Papin where Arabie won for Karl Burke and Jim Crowley, Shadow Army 17/1 was second for Fahey-James Doyle and Celandine third for Ed Walker and Tom Marquamd.

The Prix Messidor stayed well and truly at home with the win going to Caramelito 6/1, second to Marhaba Ya Sanaff and third to Andromede.
