This G1 will be run at Cologne on Sunday

As usual it has attracted a number of raiders including Godolphin's No. 1 Globe Trotter Rebel's Romance.  Naturally the UK market has him on top at 5/6 – Appleby-Buick team – however we think the local Lordano has a very good chance here on 5/2 with Piechulek riding for Weiss.  If you want to put a roughie in your multiples (there are only 6 starters for the 2400m contest) try Erle on 10/1 for Pecheur-de Vries.

Earlier the Kölner Sprint Trophy is G3 over 1400m with 7 runners and we like Geography 5/2 for Schiergen-Murzabayev ahead of the favourite Whispering Dream, a French raider from the Pantall stables with Adrie de Vries on board.  Another roughie for the multiples is Shootout 14/1 for Grewe- T H Hansen.
