Peregrine (Race 5) has taken over at the head of the market at $2.45 after firming in about a point in early betting. He was beaten less than 2L last start when returning a solid rating and had won his previous two outings, including one at Beaumont. Up to the mile today he is drawn to get the run of the race from gate one.Times Ticking (Race 7) has been a well backed favourite early on, firming in more than $1 to a quote of $2.05 in fixed odds markets. The mare caught the eye running on well for third when resuming and will be fitter today. Suited by the extra 100m, she also brings the highest-last start rating in to this race.
