White Universe had a flood of money for it to win race 7 at Flemington and it proved to be spot on, while Whisperossa's defeat in race 7 at Randwick was a big loss to its supporters.

One punter stood to collect $124,000 after placing a double – White Universe into Avenue, however, the latter never looked likely winning its event at Morphettville (race 7).
