Sea Siren became the first filly to win a Doomben 10,000 when she claimed the feature event last Saturday where she eclipsed her previous peak Timeform figure in the process.

The John O'Shea three-year-old was sent out favourite for the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 (1350m) last Saturday despite a filly having yet to be successful in the feature event.
In a stride for stride battle with Buffering down the straight, the determined Sea Siren forged ahead over the concluding stages for a narrow win over the reliable Rob Heathcote-trained galloper.
Sea Siren's latest success continues her stellar rise to a dual Group 1 winner at open weight for age level.
The Fastnet Rock filly recorded a new peak Timeform figure (122) in the process, improving on her previous master rating of 117 achieved when winning the BTC Cup (1200m) last start.
Sea Siren's winning figure of 122 is slightly below the previous five year winning average of the event which on looking back has been won by some of Australia's most popular sprinters of recent times.
After being a model of consistency throughout her career, Beaded claimed her maiden Group 1 success in the 2011 renewal.
Beaded's winning figure of 120 also rates below the five year average.
Hot Danish scored in the 2010 running of the event with a performance assessed at 124.
The five-year-winning average was bolstered by baldy faced sprinter Apache Cat who recorded back to back Doomben 10,000 victories in 2008 and 2009, recording figures of 127 and 124 respectively.
Takeover Target won in 2007 with an effort rated 125 prior to his second of four Royal Ascot campaigns.
Sea Siren's next potential goal comes a lot closer to home with connections deliberating over whether the filly contests the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap (1400m) at Eagle Farm on June 9.
Her latest performance in the Doomben 10,000 bodes well for her chances in the Stradbroke Handicap with the 1400m feature currently possessing a lower five year winning average than its traditional lead up event.
A rating of 122 places Sea Siren in the top echelon of fillies this season alongside the likes of Streama, Mosheen and of course Atlantic Jewel.
If Sea Siren does not contest the Stradbroke Handicap, a short spring campaign followed by an overseas trip for the Group 1 Hong Kong Sprint in December could be on the cards.
