Just 24 hours after the Champion Stakes Final at Romford - won brilliantly by Mark Wallis's New Destiny - another multiple big-race winner eyes gold in the shape of King Memphis (9.11) who gets the vote in a cracking head-to-head with Dave Lee's El Tornillo.

The pair have dominated the 491m event with exceptional performances at the Sittingbourne venue to date and a battle from the get-go looks on the card.

However, Liz McNair's King Memphis is getting stronger with each run following a spell off and the Olympic champion can improve for his heat and semi-final wins and might just wear down the Crayford raider who will aim to cut loose.

Fastlane Bex (8.54) gets the vote in the other final on the night - the Arena Racing Company Sprint Trophy Final.

Paul Donovan's runner is the best trapper in the field and might get away, improving for last week's heat run after a fortnight off. He could well need catching, hitting his rivals for six!

Also tonight are the semi-finals of the Premier Greyhound Racing Oaks and Arena Racing Company Scurry Gold Cup at Perry Barr.

Yarmouth Derby heroine Druids Say Go (7.36) can overcome a tough-looking draw with a fast start in the first Oaks semi, although mistakes would be costly with the likes of Distant Cara and Droopys Eunice in the field.

The other semi-final might go to Liz McNair's Queen Joni (8.11) who is also winding up a serious Classic challenge and raced away nicely in her second-round heat before holding Icemans Girl.

The Scurry Gold Cup semis also grace the card and the votes go to Bill Russell's Silver Salver champion Magical Bluebear (7.18), Matt Dartnall's Romford Puppy Cup winner Fire And Ice (7.53) and Kevin Hutton's fastest heat winner Rioja Oisin (8.28).

Monmore stages another night of quality Saturday opens with the pick being Mark Wallis's Newinn Syd (9.04) in the final of the Ladbrokes.com 630 Final - he stepped up well to win his heat and can follow up in the decider.

*MARCH ON FREDDIE (David Mullins) and Arthur Cornflake (Patrick Godfrey) are the UK challengers in heats 16 and 21 as the first round of the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby concludes with another 13 heats at Shelbourne Park, Dublin, tonight.

*NOTTINGHAM will host the next Gone To The Dogs - Live! broadcast on Monday, November 25.

The headline event will be the £20,000 Premier Greyhound Racing Eclipse Final, won last year by Mark Wallis's Newinn Syd.
