The John Moore-trained pair of Military Attack and Dan Excel are in town to contest the International Group 1 $3 million Singapore Airlines International Cup over 2000m while the Caspar Fownes prepared Lucky Nine will run in the International Group 1 $ 1 million KrisFlyer International Sprint over 1200m.

After the Moore-trained Zaidan suffered some minor cuts during take-off in Hong Kong last year, this year the three gallopers landed at Changi Airport around 8.30am without a hitch.

Singapore Turf Club veterinary surgeon Dr Joanne Soo said the three international visitors were unloaded from the plane around 9.15am and were at the racecourse at Kranji an hour later.

“It was an uneventful trip,” said Dr Soo. “Those travelling with the horses reported there were no problems at all.

“We've already taken urine from them and they are settling in.”

After beginning his career in Ireland, Lucky Nine has become a seasoned traveller after joining the Fownes stable. He has made three trips to Japan and one to Dubai.

Lucky Nine was a last start seventh behind Rich Tapestry in the Group 2 The Sprint Cup over 1200m on April 28.

On the other hand the Moore pair go into the SIA Cup in excellent form.

Military Attack was a last start winner of the Group 1 Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup over 2000m on April 28 while Dan Excel scored an impressive victory in the Group 1 Champions Mile over 1600m on May 5.
