Classy international Group winner My Quest For Peace will join the Peter Moody stable after failing to secure an invitation to contest the Hong Kong International Vase at Sha Tin next month.

My Quest For Peace, brought to Melbourne by UK trainer Luca Cumani for the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups, will stay In Australia in a bid to emulate last season's Group One heroics by another former Cumani-trained stayer Manighar.
My Quest For Peace, like Manighar, is owned by the Melbourne-based OTI Racing Syndicate. Manighar joined the Moody team after a Melbourne Cup campaign and last autumn dominated wfa racing with wins in the G1 Australian Cup, G1 Ranvet Stake and G1 BMW.
My Quest For Peace, a four-year-old by champion sire Galileo, raced twice in Melbourne for Cumani for a fifth in the Caulfield Cup and tenth in the Melbourne Cup. He is the winner of five races up to 2816m in the UK including the G3 Glorious Stakes at Goodwood.
OTI director Terry Henderon said My Quest For Peace will be set to emulate Manighar next autumn.
“He'll follow the same path as Manighar last season,” Henderson said.
“He'll go to the paddock, have a brief let up and be ready to go in the early autumn.
“The short-term objective is the Australian Cup.”
OTI has also sent another import Gatewood to Chris Waller's Sydney stable. Gatewood, also by Galileo, won the Geelong Cup for his UK trainer John Gosden but failed to gain a Melbourne Cup start after finishing sixth in the Lexus at Flemington.
OTI's autumn team will also see Manighar back in action along with Queensland Derby winner Brambles. Both horses missed the major spring races due to setbacks.
Henderson said Manighar was recovering well from a small bone chip.
“Manighar is coming along well. He's on the water walker and the prognosis for him to resume training for the autumn in four weeks is excellent.”
Brambles had to be spelled after suffering travel sickness after the Brisbane carnival.
OTI also has another good import Prairie Star with Flemington trainer Danny O'Brien.
