Morphettville Parks Races Review on 21st September 2024

Apprentice Rochelle Milnes started her day off in fine style when she rode Talisay to her second win from seven starts in the 1550 metre opening race on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.

Being under the care of Byron Cozamanis Talisay came from last with a withering run over the concluding stages.

 The first starter Overstated  showed plenty of promise when she opened her winning account in the 1000 metre second race.

Trained by Jon O'Connor and having the services of Jason Holder came from a rearward position with a strong run to take the event.

Cranbourne based trainer David Noonan was all s miles when Lottaroc took out the 2250 metre third race.

Ride n by Jessica Eaton Lottaroc  raced two off the pace before being declared the winner.

Horsham trainer Paul Preusker was well pleased with the win of his charge Eishaa in the 1950 fourth race.

Piloted to victory by Jacob Opperman Eishaa came from midfield gong four wide in the straight to win.

Apprentice Rochelle Milnes landed her second winner for the day when Nurys took out the 1550 metre fifth race.  Being under the care of Murray Bridge based trainer David Huxtable Nurys came from a rearward position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

The training duo of Richard and Chantelle Jolly brought up a win when Aviatress was successful in the 1250 metre sixth race.

Having the services of Jake Toeroek Aviatress raced in a forward position.

After being a barrier scratching in the recent Balaklava Cup Favourite child returned to the winner's list in the 1400 metre seventh race.

Presenting Rochelle Milnes with her third winner for the day the Will Clarken and Niki O'Shea trained Favourite Child was well placed and went on to record a strong win.

The promising four-year-old gelding Longer Route brought up his second win in seven days when he took out the 1550 eighth race.

Trained at Murray Bridge by Mick Huxtable the Sam Payne guided Longer Route led for most of the event.

Victorian apprentice Dakota Keane made her trip to Morphettville worthwhile when she guided Old Time Rock to a win in the 1000 metre final event.

Coming out of the Andrew Clarken stable at Murray Bridge Old Time Rock led all the way.
