Morphettville Parks Races Review -11th November 2017

Port Lincoln trainer Jackie Stoetzer will remember November 11th 2017 when her charge Dexter You Devil registered her first city winner in the 1250 metre opening event at Morphettville on Saturday.

Continuing the excellent run of hoop Todd Pannell Dexter You Devil made it three successive wins when he raced in the middle of the field before going on to win.

After winning well at a recent Balaklava fixture Show Bender brought up his second consecutive win in the 1400 mere second race.

Bringing up his fifth win from eleven starts Show Bender held a good position to give apprentice Zac Spain and his master Lloyd Kennewell victory.

An on course pick–up ride at the expense of Justin Potter saw Paul Gatt enter the winner’s stall when Ustinov’s Fury took out the 1550 metre third race.

Being under the care of Shane Oxlade at Woodchester Ustinov’s Fury was always well placed.

Hoop Jason Holder continued his good strike rate for the week when he steered Silent Warrior to a win in the 1950 metre fourth race.

Trained by Stuart Gower and coming off a second at its previous start at Morphettville Silent Warrior was well placed.

In-form apprentice Raquel Clark brought up a win when Wasabi Bob took out the 1550 metre fifth race.

Prepared by the Leon Macdonald/Andrew Gluyas combination Wasabi Bob was three wide at one stage of the event before going onto win.

Mentor Lloyd Kennewell landed his second winner for the day when Invisible Girl took out the 1000 metre sixth race.

Having the services of Joe Bowditch Invisible Girl came from a near last position with a strong run over the last few hundred metres.

Trainer Lloyd Kennewell brought a race to race double and a hat trick of winners when his charge Federal Court took out the 1400 metre seventh race.

Ridden by apprentice Chris Caserta Federal Court was never troubled and led all the way.

Trainer Ryan Balfour lived up to his consistency of late when he trained the last winner for the day Magnus Knight in the final event of 1200 metres.

Winning his second consecutive race the Jamie Kah ridden Magnus Knight came from a midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.
