Bewhatyouwannabe wins 2016 Montrose Therapy Tails Stakes Listed $100,000 at Sunshine Coast (QLD), 1600m.
Bewhatyouwannabe drifted back from his good barrier (2) to settle in ninth place, on the rails before improving along the inner rounding the home turn. He challenged strongly (on the rails) passing the 200m and then fought gamely to score in a three-way finish.
Allknight Saint had a good trip in seventh place on the rails before continuing along to rails on turning for home. He challenged at the 200m and then battled strongly for a close second.
The favourite Sir Moments settled in ninth place, but trapped wide. He improved (three wide) from the 800m, put in his bid nearing the 200m and kept running on well under his top weight (61kg) for a close up third, in a strong effort.
