Heart Starter was used up to lead at a good pace and had a clear margin on turning for home. He quickened up smartly putting a break on the field with only the eventual runner up Who Dat Singa challenging the straight. The first two drew a long way clear of the third horse.
Who Dat Singa enjoyed a nice run on the fence behind the leader. He eased out into the clear on turning for home and finished on gamely but could not pick up the leader who scored with a little in reserve.
