Coldplay wins 2015 Lawnmaster Eulogy Stakes Group 3 NZ$70,000 at Awapuni (NZ) 3yoFillies, 1600m.
Coldplay was away well from the barriers to settle down in third position one out one back about four lengths from the leader Night Fever who ran along in front. She was pushed three wide at the 900m when Dualis, who was racing on the quarters of the leader, stumbled and almost fell. Allpress aboard Coldplay made a forward move three wide from the 700m to be within striking distance on straightening for home and hit the front at 300m. She found the line strongly to draw away to score a convincing victory.
Bella Court closed strongly from well back in the field to grab second right on the line.
Fame Seeker enjoyed a nice run in the race on the back of the speed. She had every chance in the straight and battled on for third.
