Celtic Tiger came from third last between runners to weave a way through in the straight to score an unlikely last stride victory.
Ayers Rock was game in defeat. He was used up on the pace racing outside the leader before pressuring the leader at the 650m. He lead clearly on turning for home and was headed by One For One before fighting back to regain the lead but was grabbed late on the outside. A very good effort.
One For One had every chance in the run racing on the back of the runner up. He hit the front inside the final 200m but tired late on to finish third.
