Stay With Me wins 2015 Atlantic Jewel Stakes Listed $120,000 at Moonee Valley (VIC) 3yo Fillies, 1200m.
Stay With Me was taken back to third last from her wide barrier (13) about ten lengths from the early leader Haybah. Trapped out four wide, Dunn allowed his mount to improve her position a little wide out on the track in the middle stages. She turned for home on the outside still with plenty to do but she quickened up impressively hitting the front inside the final 100m, before drawing away to the line. A very impressive performance.
Pasadena Girl was a little slowly into stride and settled down in second last position on the back of the winner. She tracked that filly into the race and also finished strongly in the straight for a good second, first up from a spell.
Jameka had a torrid run three wide facing the breeze in third position. She was under pressure on turning for home but she responded well to grab third on the line.
Don't Doubt Marley finished on well from well back in the field to just miss third, a sound effort.
