Let's Make Adeal settled back in eighth place, travelling well, following a good pace. She gradually moved up (wide) from the 1000m before challenging rounding the home turn. She took the lead half-way down the straight and then raced away to win by three and a half lengths in an impressive strong, staying effort.
Held Hostage was a handy fifth before moving up well at the 600m. She hit the front on turning for home and then battled well for a sound second, finding the winner far too good.
Lady Cumquat was back in tenth place on the rails to the 600m. She was held up for a run on straightening, got clear at the 150m and ran on well, late, for a good third.
