Riva De Lago wins 2015 Hmr Projects Glasshouse Hcp Listed $175,000 at Sunshine Coast (QLD), 1300m.
Riva De Lago race on the fence in fourth position about five lengths from the leader. He travelled well approaching the home turn and was nursed into the race on the inside of the leader. He hit the front at the 200m and finished on strongly to score with a little in reserve.
Time For War worked across from the outside barrier to lead. He ran along in front stretching the field out over plenty of ground. He kicked again on at the top of the straight going clear, but could not answer the challenge of the winner back to his inside. He battled on gamely and considering the work he was forced to do early in the race, it was a good effort in defeat.
