Nicoscene wins 2015 William Hill Stakes Group 2 $250,000 at Morphettville (SA) 3yo, 1200m.
Nicoscene put up a big performance to score here coming from third last and widest on the home turn to close strongly late, picking up the leader Tudor inside the final 100m and then drawing away to win with a little in reserve.
Tudor was away well from the gates and was used up to cross and take the lead. He ran along in front turning for home the clear leader. He stayed closer to the rail on turning for home before kicking strongly again at the 250m. He justifiably tired a little late on to finish a game second.
We've Got This settled down in sixth position between runners. He turned for home five wide in the clear and battled on gamely in the straight for a non threatening third.
