Peach Cove followed placings at her last two starts to win well here. She settled beyond midfield, went wide from the 400m and came with a strong late run to score by a half-length.
Spiker also raced towards the rear. He fanned deep in the home straight, looked the winner when he hit the front at the 100m before finishing second whilst Sofia Rosa ran on late to take third in a photo in an encouraging debut.
