Manapine wins 2015 Galilee Series Final Listed $150,000 at Flemington (VIC) 3yo, 2500m.
Manapine began well before steadying to settle one off the rail in seventh. He received a nice drag into the race from the 700m, levelled wide on the track at the 300m and although headed briefly at the 200m he had the reserves to lift and win.
From back on the inner, Oncidium Ruler moved off the rail at the 1400m to track Manapine. He put it to the winner with a strong challenge at the 200m and only went down narrowly.
All I Survey opted for an inside passage from second last and finished gamely to be clear in third and well clear of the remainder.
