Setinum wins 2015 Woodside Park Bendigo Guineas Listed $150,000 at Bendigo (VIC) 3yo, 1400m.
Setinum was trapped three wide without cover in fifth position in a steadily run race, led by Liberation with the favourite Java on his outside. He was one of the first horses to come under pressure on turning for home but he responded well to hard riding, picking up strongly in the centre of the track putting his run in with Eclair Choice before putting his head down to score.
Eclair Choice enjoyed a good run in third position one out one back. He switched out in the clear on straightening and came with a determined run, picking up Java at the 50m but just getting grabbed late on the outside.
Java had every possible chance in the run racing outside the leader. He kicked clear at the top of the straight and tired a little on his run to finish third.
