Stipulate lands the prize first-up in the Listed Aust.T'bred Bloodstock Stakes on Saturday.
The British import Stipulate, having his second preparation since coming to Australia, scored a very smart first-up win.
He settled well in eighth place one off the rails, following a good tempo. He was giving the leader about eight lengths as he commenced a run on passing the 600m.
He switched deep on straightening, took the lead at the 100m and went to score a soft win in impressive fashion.
Brambles was sixth, one off the rails, before improving nearing the home turn. He challenged strongly at the 200m and then fought on quite well for a sound second, finding the winner too good in the latter stages.
The favourite Marksmanship enjoyed a good trip in third place before moving to take the lead shortly after turning for home.
He then fought back quite well for third after seeming to have every chance.
The Sydney-trained stayer Single was a handy fourth most of the way and held that position in the straight finishing just over four and a half lengths from the winner after having every chance.
Mr O’Ceirin was second to the home turn and then held on quite well for fifth at his first start since racing in Queensland in June.
