Arabian Gold was far too good in the Adrian Knox to close out the program at Randwick on Saturday.

Arabian Gold is now unbeaten in her three starts in heavy going.

She settled well, travelling nicely in fifth place (wide with cover). She switched wide on turning for home, put in a good run to hit the lead at the 200m and then drew clear with her top weight (59kg) to win comfortably by a length and a quarter. She is a classy filly who has hit form at the right time with the ATC Oaks (Gr 1, 2400m) next Saturday.

Missvonn had a good trip, seventh one off the rails, tracking the winner. She moved to second at the 100m after taking a while to wind-up, and then battled nicely for a good second, looking suited to further.

NZ filly Miss Cumquat was back in 11th place, one off the rails, travelling well. She moved up (deep) nearing the home turn, put in a run at the 200m and then kept fighting on for a sound third at her Australian debut.

Paris Match raced in second place most of the way to the home turn, took the lead at the 300m and then held on fairly well for (four and three quarter lengths) fourth while Amanpour ran along in the lead, before tiring for (six and a half lengths) fifth.
