A hard fought win to Sweet Idea who enjoyed a nice run on the outside of the leader Champagne Cath in a steadily run race.

She asserted at the 200m and battled on strongly to score well.

Gypsy Diamond was very good first up from a spell. She came from fourth last and wide on the home turn to make up a lot of ground in the straight to finish a good second.

Champagne Cath was used up to lead. She had an easy time in front but held on well to gain some small black type.

Real Surreal raced in fifth position between runners. She battled on in the straight to just miss third.

Guelph (6th) was a major disappointment. She was a little slowly away and then was used up to race in fourth position three wide facing the breezing. She was the first to come under pressure in the straight and found little in the straight.

Zanbagh (9th) was making good ground late from well back. She will be improved by the run and further.
