Magnifisio landed another win as the well-backed favourite.
The consistent four-year-old mare Magnifisio ($3.20 fav) scored impressively.
She settled in a nice spot from her good barrier (4), fourth between runners. She got into the clear rounding the home turn, moved up strongly and hit the lead at the 100m and then drew away to win decisively by a length and a half. It was a smart win, her seventh in 15 starts.
Excelorada raced outside the leader, took a narrow lead on straightening and kept fighting on well for second.
Dueton settled midfield on the rails from his inside barrier (1) in the 11-horse field. He was blocked on turning for home and finally got into the clear in the closing stages and then battled on to take third.
