After a big Adelaide Cup day on Monday, we start the trek toward the Autumn carnival, albeit with not a strong card.
It is a day of small fields and so value won’t be easy to find but one thing you can trust at the moment is the way Tony McEvoy is going.
Unfair Dismissal is resuming straight to 1400m in Race 4.
The All Too Hard colt had form around decent class horses as a two year old including winning the Oaklands Plate at Listed level.
He likes this course which is important and we do like the fact he’s straight to this journey and not mucking around at a much sharper trip.
The colt could easily develop into a Guineas horse or maybe further. Happy to tail him in as the class in this field.
In the following race, Paseeto gets a lovely claim which makes him dangerous now getting fitter.
He has two victories on the Parks track and made nice improvement at Moonee Valley recently after a long time off.
Watch for him to cross over and be near the speed much of the way over a distance which helps that racing pattern.
