Brisbane Best – October 20

It might well be a tough day at Doomben on another damp surface but keen on a couple who have run well on it previously.

In a Class 3 plate over the mile where Mymming has been thriving.

The mare was finding the placings before stepping up in journey where she won twice at Caloundra and on affected ground too.

She is clearly stronger now and had no issues in a Class 4 so looks well placed for this.

The four year old will settle midfield and ease out to make her run, looking to be powerful on the line.

The following race sees a horse coming out of some hot two year olds races last season.

Plumaro started her career well but then was asked to take on the elite in the Brisbane carnival.

The Spirit Of Boom filly was not far off Lean Mean Machine in the Sires and then even better four lengths off The Autumn Sun in an incredibly hot JJ Atkins.

That race has seen the winner win two Spring G1s, Zousain come second to him in the Golden Rose, third Fundamentalist miss by a nose in the Thousand Guineas and fourth Sesar win the Roman Consul.

She just needs a cart into the race and will be so hard to keep out.
