Best From The West - March 3

The Adam Durrant trained Miracle Man really caught the eye first up and appears well placed to return to the winner's stall at Ascot on Saturday.

Due to contest the sixth event the son of Viscount really impressed in his return when only narrowly beaten behind talented filly Private Dancer.

The latter appears very hard to beat in the Listed Challenge Stakes and Miracle Man is expected to relish the slight step up in trip.

Only lightly raced Miracle Man has a fair bit of improvement up his sleeve and Pike is a key booking having won two of three attempts aboard the three-year-old.

From the middle draw he is expected to settle closer to the speed and could in fact box-seat for the Wizard.

Do respect the chances of the progressive Jeraft, however at the weights it is certainly advantage Miracle Man.

Have him marked the clear-cut favourite and hence more than happy to bet up at his current odds ($4.20).

In the second event the Roy Rogers trained Tango Ora presents good each-way value, having only finished a narrow second behind the favourite How To Fly last start.

A model of consistency, Tango Ora is expected to press forward and be in this for a long way with Pateman back aboard (placed 3/3).

At the weights he certainly gets his chance and looks to only have to repeat the level of his last start performance to be right in the finish again.
