Nowyousee To Continue Strong Form At Kranji

Nowyousee will look to continue his strong recent form when he lines up in the RDA Cup Class 3 (1100m) at Kranji on Sunday.

The Ricardo Le Grange-trained runner has shown good ability in his short career winning his first two career starts before running a solid second to Draco last start over 1200m.

Nowyousee has since won a barrier trial in good order on the turf and certainly looks well suited in this company today as he makes his way through the grades.

Drawn well in barrier 5 with Nooresh Juglall on board, the three-year-old O’reilly gelding won’t be far away in the run having settled second last start and if he runs up to his best form he will be too good for these.

Julius Caesar returns today, last seen when scoring a good win in a Kranji Stakes C over 1200m on the Polytrack.

Had the blinkers on for the first time on that occasion and they will stay on again today from the wide draw.

Should push forward to put himself in the race again today and if he can run up to his last start effort he will certainly be right in the mix.

With just the 12 career starts to his name, the four-year-old gelding possesses a fairly handy career record, winning three of 12 and this shapes up as a very nice task for him today.

Julius Caesar has a much better record on the polytrack with three wins from just six starts and with the 2kg claim for apprentice jockey he should be right in the mix today.

Macarthur was well held when resuming in a Class 3 over 1000m last start but has since gone on to win a barrier trial and should appreciate the slight step up in trip today.

Finished last campaign in good order with a Class 4 win over 1200m on the Polytrack and his best form measures up well to his rivals today.

Certainly much more capable than he showed first up and from barrier 7 should be on the speed with Vlad Duric to ride and although will need to show significant improvement to get past Nowyousee he can certainly measure up on a return to form.

Wonderful Knight rounds out the main chances having just missed when resuming in similar company two starts back.

Led before being run down last start over the 1200m on the turf and back on the Polytrack looks an each way chance.

Good Luck!
