Brisbane Best - October 28

Colosimo will be looking to return to the winners circle when he lines up in the Class 3 Plate over 1350m at Doomben on Saturday.

The Chris Waller-trained runner has been in terrific form of late, winning two starts back at Ipswich before running a close second to Miss Exfactor at the Gold Coast last start.

Colosimo takes on the older horses today but she rates very well on weight adjusted ratings and is open to further improvement with just eight starts to her name.

Will look to find some cover from barrier 10 and has won on a soft 6 previously so should get through the conditions okay today.

This shapes up as a very nice race for him and happy to take the $2.60 against these.

Earlier in the programme, Miss Arabella will look to go one better when she lines up in the Benchmark 75 Handicap over 2200m.

The Tony Gollan-trained runner finally drew a barrier last start and finished off well to finish runner up on that occasion and she should get a nice run again today from a handy draw.

Whilst her form has been somewhat mixed this preparation she has won or gone very close every time she has drawn a barrier and she should have no troubles with the step back up to 2200m.

Yet to run on anything worse than good but her breeding suggests she has been crying out for a wet track and expect her to be getting to the line very strongly.

Despite taking on a very competitive field again today, happy to take the each way odds of $7.50 based on her last start effort.

Good Luck
