As long as he’s overcome the run last week in the Aquanita Stakes, siding with Gatting as the best bet on the cards.
He was back in the field and three wide the trip. He could do nothing about that so worked forward.
Being the Derby winner he should handle the back up now fourth up. Maybe heading forward immediately would be a good tactic.
He never gave up despite the run and deserves another go.
Later in the day, High Conviction looks to continue her great form.
She could not have been more impressive coming from last when resuming.
William Pike has stayed aboard and from this barrier won’t need to be giving away as much start this time.
She has clearly got top ability and may develop into an even better horse than this grade.
