Talented filly Sezanne is due to make her return in the last event at Rosehill on Saturday and presents quite the enticing betting opportunity.
A winner of two of her eight starts, the daughter of More Than Ready has displayed plenty of ability having placed in the Group 1 Flight Stakes [1600m] before only narrowly edged out in Group 2 company prior to a break.
She now finds herself back in BM 76 company and while giving weight away to all of her rivals, she is still well ahead of the handicapper and appears well placed on best form.
Given the two trials in the lead up, she appears ready to fire first up.Worth noting she trialled at Warwick Farm on Monday, a ploy Chris Waller used with Omei Sword prior to her dominant display in the Group 2 Silver Shadow Stakes [1400m] last preparation.
Hugh Bowman continues his association with the filly and from the inside draw she looks to receive a charmed run in transit. As much as 3-1 is being offered about her chances, which appears a more than worthy gamble as if priced aggressively we have her marked closer to 7-4 chance.
Her latest trial suggests she can adopt a more prominent position and if anywhere near her top, she looks to set the bar too high for her rivals. To view Fixed and Best Tote odds for the selected races Click here to visit TopBetta
In the seventh race the Bjorn Baker trained Sewreel appears over the odds, following her solid Australian debut when finishing third behind stablemate Imposing Lass.
Formerly based in New Zealand the daughter of Savabeel has displayed good ability in her 11 starts and now appears set to relish the step up in trip. She notably gets the blinkers back on and with James Doyle sticking aboard she is expected to make her presence felt.
