Super Force will look to continue his strong recent form when lining up in the Benchmark 75 Handicap (2200m) at Eagle Farm.
The Kurt Goldman-trained runner finished second to Rednav over the same trip at Doomben last start and he rates very strongly off recent efforts.
Drawn well again in barrier 2 with Jim Byrne remaining on board and if he runs anything near his last start effort he will be very hard to beat.
The current price of $4 looks a good bet for a horse with his form and I have him more around the $2.90 mark.
Proven over the 2200m, Super Force has backed up in seven days once before when third at the Gold Coast and on weight adjusted ratings he certainly shapes up as a leading chance in this.
Panno Rossa is the obvious danger but he goes up to 2200m where he is unplaced from two previous outings and he looks much better suited over the shorter trips.
Josh Oliver replaces leading jockey Jeff Lloyd to claim a much needed 3kg however at the current odds would be more inclined to play Super Force over Panno Rossa.
Later in the programme Solar Burst will line up for a new yard when she steps out in the Class 3 Plate over 1400m for Tony Sears.
Formerly with the Ellerton & Zahra stable in Victoria, Solar Burst has shown pretty good form without winning races in recent times.
Does his best racing over this trip and off a freshen up she certainly comes into consideration against these.
Likely to settle around midfield from the good draw and based on her recent form measure up well on weight adjusted ratings.
Current price of $7 looks a good each way bet with Cruising Speed the one to beat on the back of two strong wins.
The change of scenery could be just the trick for Solar Burst who was very competitive in Victoria but unable to win races.
Good Luck!
