Seeking More has been racing in good form of late and will be looking for three wins in a row when stepping out at Sunshine Coast on Saturday.
The Kelso Wood-trained runner has won his last two with ease over the 1050m at Doomben and he rates well against these on what he has produced of late.
Luke Dittman remains on board and claims a much needed 3kg and the slight drop in trip should not pose any issues.
Seeking More possesses an outstanding record over the 1000m trip and from three runs at the course has placed on all three occasions.
From barrier 3, would expect the five-year-old gelding to settle up on the speed once again as he has his last two outings and will take plenty of running down.
The current price of $3.60 looks a good bet for a horse with his recent form and despite coming up against some handy ones in Rocky King and Architect, Seeking More should be able to get the job done.
Later in the day Beau Jet (race 8 #16) will look to continue his solid recent form when lining up in the last of the day.
The Steven O’Dea-trained runner hit the line strongly when runner up over 1000m here last start and steps up to the 1200m for this.
Unplaced from two previous outings at the 1200m, but was blocked for a run two back in listed company at Doomben and hit the line well on the other occasion in Group 3 company.
Both these runs suggest the three-year-old gelding should have no issues with the 1200m and he rates well on what he has produced of late.
Takes on a big field today and is likely to be eased back from the inside draw and if he can run up to his recent form he will prove hard to hold out.
Tim Bell remains on board and the son of Jet Spur has a good record at the course, winning 2/4, placing on another occasion.
The current price of $4.40 looks a good bet against these despite coming up against a big field definitely looks over the odds.
Suit looks a big danger despite not having won in a long time as well as Mr Jetset but proven in tougher Beau Jet goes on top.
Last week saw the first bet of the day In Masquerade put in a disappointing display whilst the second bet of the Feltre saluted at the ripe odds of $4.20.
