Generalife is seen as the best bet on a good Sandown card for Zipping Classic Day.
Generalife went to a new level over the winter, winning a pair of listed races at Rosehill, and despite not winning he has gone right on with it in three runs this spring.
He was short of room when within a length of Famous Seamus first up and has gone on to post a pair of strong closing in efforts in races that have returned terrific figures since.
The winners of those two races ran 1-2 in the Emirates last week, leaving Generalife with fairly obvious form claims in much lesser company at Sandown.
The price on offer looks a cracking gamble.
One at each way odds that is worth having on side is Careless in the Sandown Guineas.
Stratum Star is a clear top pick on his brave Carbine Club second last time but Careless was a good closer behind him and he can settle in a more positive position from the better draw today.
He's still a maiden and certainly not the most likely winner here but he's got the ratings to be in the shake up and at $11 his chances look undervalued.
