Show Harmony takes a step up in grade at Doomben on Saturday and on what he has produced of late looks hard to go past.
The Stephen Jones-trained runner has won both career outings by over 5L at the Gold Coast and third up today looks open to further improvement.
Stepping out in the Hillross Montefiore & Co NMW over 1350m (Race 6 #9), Show Harmony will more than likely go forward once again from barrier 5 and will be hard to run down.
Apprentice jockey Luke Dittman remains on board and down in the weights Show Harmony looks well placed to make the step up in grade and remain undefeated.
Current price of $2.50 looks about right with the four-year-old gelding still having to improve again off his last start win at the Gold Coast.
Later in the day Lyric (Race 8 #4) will look to continue on his good recent form, having followed up two good runs at Rosehill for fourth with a very good win at this C/D last start
The Gregory Hickman-trained runner beat home some handy runners last start including the lightly raced Gun Case and fourth up now should be nearing peak fitness.
The current $8.50 on offer looks to be very good odds for a horse in form and his last win on weight adjusted Timeform figures rates on par with the short priced favourite You Did What.
You Did What no doubt looks the one to beat but at the current odds, Lyric looks a very good each way bet with Michael Cahill remaining on board.
The five-year-old gelding has improved with every run this campaign and if that trend continues he is more than capable of running a figure that will be too strong for this lot.
For the third time in a row, last week saw our each way bet win at good odds with Lucky Meteor claiming his fifth win in a row at $7.
Unfortunately our bet of the day was beaten with Adorabubble running fourth but with three winners over $6 in the last three weeks we are certainly well ahead.
