Say From SA - April 19

Palmero ran away for a dominant win over the obstacles at Sandown last start and looks hard to go past once again in the Von Doussa Steeple at Oakbank.

The Ciaron Maher-trained runner stays over similar trip today and rates well on weight adjusted Timeform ratings.

King Triton who has a good record over the Steeples finished runner up in the same race last start and was some 6.5L away on that occasion and should be in the mix again today.

It’s hard to see him turning the tables on that result today however and Palmero should continue on his winning ways.

Later in the say Dee Bee Nine will step out in the Yalumba Oakbank Stakes (1100m) having run well in both starts this campaign.

The seven-year-old gelding resumed with a win at this C/D before taking on tougher at Moonee Valley and running a 2.6L eighth at Moonee Valley.

Down in the weights and jumping from the inside barrier, Dee Bee Nine rates well in this company and at $6 currently looks very good value here.

Rizziz who has won his last two as has Siwa Lady look to be the dangers along with a resuming Lady Of Harrods but at the odds Dee Bee Nine looks the one to be with in this.

Miss Joolia has produced some handy results this campaign but still has a bit to find on a few of these in the triple M 78 Handicap.

Up slightly in trip after a last start fifth at Morphettville Parks and no doubt has claims in this but the $3.60 on offer currently looks a bit skinny with Azzcool coming off some good form and Potiche resuming from a spell.

Miss Joolia is yet to win over the trip from four outings and on best form others look better suited in this.
