Redeem Bounty has been in outstanding form of late and looks well placed to claim his third win in as many starts when lining up at Morphettville Parks.
The lightly raced three-year-old gelding kicked off his preparation in good order with two placings and has since gone on to win his last two, the most recent coming at this C/D.
Going up in the weights today, Redeem Bounty gets a much needed 2kg claim from apprentice jockey and has improved considerably over his last three outings and rates well on weight adjusted Timeform ratings.
From barrier 1, expect the Richard Jolly-trained runner to push forward and settle up on the speed with no other natural leaders in the field.
Murtle Turtle looks the obvious danger but has been poor in her last two outings, not beating a runner home when 6.3L away from Redeem Bounty last start.
Later in the day Wise And Happy will look to build on some solid recent form, getting home well for third here last start after jumping awkwardly.
The five-year-old gelding has an outstanding career record, winning six of his 17 starts and should prove hard to beat in this.
Trained by Brian Mueller, Wise And Happy steps up in trip where he has a good record of three wins and two placings from seven runs and from the inside draw won’t be far away in the run.
Justin Potter who has a good record on the gelding goes back on board and the current price of $5 looks very attractive.
Chamandi has failed to win a race in over a year now and finished midfield when resuming at Sale last start.
The Anthony Freedman-trained runner has won his only time at the course previously but with 61kg looks up against it to today and at the current price of $2.30 would be happy to take him on.
Chamandi should get a good run from barrier 2 but comes up against a couple of handy runners in this and will need to show improvement with the big weight to be winning here.
