Newmarket not much help

The going caused a lot of scratchings and upsets so results not such good pointers.

Time Lock won the Princess Royal on Friday under Ryan Moore and had started favourite for the 2400m contest,  Comic Book was second 5/1 and Place of Safety third with Mistral Star being scratched.

Bubbling, a 2yo No Nay Never daughter, won the Rockfel with Ryan Moore getting the nod and replacing Sean Levey after Ecstatic was scratched.  Serving with Style was second and ignore the run of Formal who did not like the ground.

The Joel saw Lead Artist scratched and it was Prague who got the win for Dylan Cunha and Dan Tudhope.  Poker Face was second but only 4 ran.

On Saturday conditions were a bit better and  our tip Wimbledon Hawkeye won the Royal Lodge with Royal Playwright second and Angelo Buonarroti third.

The Cheveley Park G1 saw Lake Victoria add herself to the impressive lot of O'Brien 2yo fillies winning from French raider Daylight by three lengths, with Arabian Dusk the third home of the seven runners.

Shadow of Light was more like a flash of lightning as he emerged from the pack in the Middle Park and tore to the line for a top Godolphin win, leaving Whistlejacket unable to catch him but still finishing second with Dash Dizzy third.

We had better luck with our pin this time in the Cambridgeshire with Liberty Lane winning and Bennetot finishing fourth which pays in the UK.  In between them came James cHenry 20/1 and Taimy Son 28/1.
