This will be run at The Curragh on Sunday.
It's over 2400, for 3yos colts and fillies but not geldings! 10 line up. It's a bit of a toss up between the English raider Ambiente Friendly, a son of Gleneagles who was an unlucky second in the English Derby and comes into this on 11/8 and Los Angeles, a son of Camelot who was third in that race and is on 5/4. The former comes from James Fanshaw's yard and will be ridden by Robert Havlin and the latter from Coolmore for O'Brien-Moore.
There was earlier interest in Matsuri (Japanese for festival) who is with Roger Varian and James Doyle on board. He's by Sea The Stars and is around 6/1 following some success at lesser tracks, and the other O'Brien Grosvenor Square 11/1 – he's a Galileo but so far looks like a "late maturer".
Earlier the G2 Railway Stakes for the 2yos has 6 runners and here the O'Brien-Moore Tunbridge Wells, by No Nay Never, is on top on 7/4 but we rather liked Arizona Blaze's run the other day and may have a bit on him at 5/1 – by Sergei Prokofiev and with Adrian Murray who has David Egan riding.
Weather cloudy but no rain on the horizon today.
